A pointless strike.

I believe the education is a human right and the Chilean government must guarantee to the access to a free and quality education for all Chileans. The solution must be for a real participation in the next presidential and legislative election. The people need to be involved with your community. We need to be more aware of our weaknesses and work for open and constructive discussion, which could make a significant contribution for a problem that affects us all.

The first big step has been taken to achieve true awareness of the education, the people know that the education is very expensive, they know about the weaknesses of the system. This is possible thanks to the penguins of 2006 generation for make to raise social awareness of this problem. The Government and the legislative power have spent years squabbling and agreements are being reached. Michelle Bachelet laid the foundation stone of the Education Reform Law but now we are need to working hard for correct them.

The importance is that our opinions now is a reality. 10 years ago, the poor people had not the right to opting to study a superior level. If the 2006 generation not called upon the people to raise their voices against the system, if the students not to say to us about the weakness educational of our country is probably this would not have been possible.

The next step will be making an informed society and vote for honest people, political figures that private interests and public interests are not interconnected. The citizens just need to assert their rights and to express their opinion by voting.

So the work it is to encourage voting. The strike is not a way of presion, just is a delayed time.

I want be a executive producer

Within a year I will be a journalist and this is my goal for now. I don´t know if I will study the next year or in a long time because I need a sabbatical time but never we don´t say never. If I have the opportunity to study I will choose something about the executive production.

I love putting out fires and be an executive producer needs this skills. When you are producer of a tv show or any project, you need know the answer for all inconveniences before that happens, you need to be a visionary for to quickly answer.

At Universidad Católica there are postgraduate courses about executive production but they are very expensive. So I think this course is an inversion for my journalism career. The most important thing that I can to learn there, is how to make good contacts. Other thing very important is be creative because the time is running and the projects it can´t stay disrupted. When you are an executive producer all working days are of challenging, the good part is when you see that you can resolve all trouble of day, when you are important for your team.

Another thing I would like to study is about politics but in this national context I don´t know if I can work in a corruption ambience. Maybe in the future but is not my priority now.

My future job

During my academic life, I have felt curiosity about many areas of journalism but only one makes the difference for me: the political journalism. Well, I know, this topic could be boring but the world needs people that make a dirty job in society. Talk about politics is an activity for some few people and this is not the idea of politic, be a politician citizen is a need of a modern nation.

I always try to be consistent with my ideals, I would like to work for my country. Changes are necessary for the evolution of the Chilean democracy, but, to this happen is necessary prepared people to inform citizens. The reason why I am a journalist is to find the truth and share my opinion in a massive way, journalism play a role of control but simultaneously are leaders of opinion. It´s fine for a moment but I know myself and I want to make more things. Journalism is my profession but my passion is another.

I imagine my future job, working for more needed people, they requires more attention. I can´t imagine my life working all day in a small office, I need contact with other persons. Absolutely, I think I have a politics face. Maybe I could be a congressman, a mayor or a leader. I want to make jobs with sense.

The best party

Talk about the best party of my life is complicated for me, I am not a party guy and I don´t like the parties at all. Maybe I am a bit hysterical because I don´t put up with throng, I feel so bad with many people around me and crowded places. So, the best party in my life was in a beach for my welcome to college, in Cartagena, an open and beautiful place.

The party was in March 2012. This is a traditional college party, because is the first meeting between classmates, in another context, different from the academic things. The party was the opportunity for meet my classmate in other facets. I meet a lot of people, many of them are my friends until now. There is a many anecdotes happened in this party: classmates in love, fights and many alcohol. When I am nostalgic I see the pictures of this day and I get impressed that the time has pass very fast. The end of my college life is one year away and I remember this party as if it were yesterday. Well, I don`t remember more details but I know that I had a funny time.
